As great as the smoothies may taste, but they're always a little expensive. You don't even have to buy them at all. You can easily prepare delicious smoothies with ginger at home with just a few ingredients and according to your taste.
Recipe No. 1 - ginger smoothie with mango
Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 small mango
- about 20 g grated ginger
- 1/4 l of orange juice
- 200 g plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp lime juice
Halve the mango, remove the core and cut the pulp into large cubes. Then put in a blender together with the ginger and puree. Gradually add orange juice, yogurt, honey and lime juice and continue mixing until the smoothie has a consistency that is not too thick but slightly creamy. Season to taste and serve with ice cubes.
Recipe No. 2 - ginger smoothie with carrots
Ingredients for 2 servings:Ginger smoothie with carrots
- approx. 20 g freshly grated ginger
- 2 - 3 bananas
- 1/4 l carrot juice
- 1 - 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 100 g plain yogurt
- about 2 tablespoons of crushed ice
Divide the bananas into coarse pieces and add all ingredients except the lemon juice to a blender or puree with a hand blender. Finally add the lemon juice and season to taste.
Recipe No. 3 - Ginger Smoothie with Kiwi:
Ingredients for 2 servings:Ginger smoothie with kiwi
- 1 small mango
- 20 g grated ginger
- 2 - 3 kiwi fruits
- 4 oranges or 1/4 liter of orange juice
- 3 tbsp lime juice
- 1 - 2 tbsp honey
- Ice cubes or crushed ice
Peel and cut the mango and kiwi into small pieces. Squeeze the oranges if you are not using orange juice. Put all ingredients, including the ice cubes, in a blender, puree thoroughly and season to taste when everything has mixed well and no large pieces are visible.
